DAY 1: MAY 28, 2018
OPENING PROGRAMME
PART 1
“Pagkakaisa para sa Handa, Ligtas at Matatag na paaralan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan” was the theme of the brigada eskwela program 2018. The teachers, parents, pupils and stakeholders showed excitement on the opening of the brigada eskwela 2018. They came early to the school to support and participate on the said event.
The parade started at 7:00 in the morning led by the school drum and lyre band, followed by the teachers, parents and pupils per grade level. They stroll the streets within the vicinity of Barangay 175.

After the parade at 8:00 in the morning, all were gathered at the school’s covered court for the opening program led by Mr. Joel Baggay as the master of the ceremony. He welcomed all the parents, teachers, pupils and stakeholders who were ready to join the brigada eskwela 2018 as the preparation for the opening of classes. He also welcomed the school’s new principal – Mr. Angelo L. Eduardo. All were singing “Welcome to the Family Song” to welcome him. All teachers were happy and did some pictures taking. The newly elected Barangay 175 captain – Hon. Ronie Matias and newly elected SK Chairman - Ms. Maui Tan were acknowledge. Mr. Bernie Cabrito – the GPTA President together with the other GPTA Officers were also welcomed.

The opening prayer was led by Mr. Herson bello a kinder teacher, followed by the singing of National Anthem conducted by Mrs. fresian Caño. Mr. Angelo L. Eduardo gave his opening remarks and gave thanks to the warm welcomed with him as the new principal of the school. Mr. Ronie Matias the newly elected barangay captain gave also his short message, he promised that the Barangay will give full support to the school activities. The School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordination (SDRRMC) Coordinator – Mr. Isagani Dela Cruz gave instructions about the safety of the school buildings and each classroom during the brigada week. To end the part 1 of the program, the Brigada School Coordinator – Ms. Precilla Duyor Disscussed the mechanics and procedures of the DEPED Brigada Eskwela Program 2018. She gave thanks in advance to all the people who were ready to join and participate the program just to prepare the school for the opening of classes. “United we stand, Divided we fall” she added.

PART 2: ORIENTATION
The grade chairman per grade level were introduced to the parents and pupils. They have discussed some concerns regarding the enrolment of their child. Each Grade Chairman called their respective teachers on stage to be able to known by the parents. The Emcee also acknowledge the Master Teacher incharge per grade level.
The Bridaga Eskwela Committee led by Mr. Angelo Eduardo were also called on stage and introduced to everyone.
To end up the program proper Sir Joel Baggay – the school’s focal person and as the host of the program gave his closing remarks. He gave details about the enrolment, schedules, buildings and classroom assignment of each grade level.
After the program proper, All were ready, teachers and parents proceeded in their own respective room and started cleaning.
DAY 2: May 29, 2018
Parents and guardians were attended the second day of the brigada. They cleaned the walls, electric fans, and windows. They also scrubbed the floor with soap and water. Others were removing the old decorations and dirty curtains.
DAY 3 and 4: May 30 and 31, 2018
On the third and fourth day, parents still gave their time just to prepare the rooms of their children. They have donated paints, brush, and rollers to repaint their classrooms. They have also painted the corridor, grille, door, windows, chairs, and cabinets. Some classrooms used colorful paints for the chairs to make it more appealing to the children. Others did mural inside and outside of their room.
DAY 5 and 6: May 31, 2018
On the remaining days of the brigada week, all were still willing to help the teachers in preparation of the rooms. Some were fixing the chairs, windows and electric fans. Other were putting wax on the floor to make it clean and shine. They have posted new charts and decorations on the wall. The clean curtains are also put in to the window. All were settled inside and outside the classroom.
With the help of all the people involved in this program, the school and classrooms are now conducive to learning, well prepared and ready for the opening of the classes. Teachers and pupils are so thankful for the active participation and full support of the parents, GPTA officers and stakeholders.
